Silver River Kayak Trip Jan 08 003

Looking upriver. Our goal was to paddle the 5 miles upstream against a 3+ kt current, stopping only once at Silver Springs State Park (you can't stop anywhere else), and paddle around the spring at Silver Springs. After that float back down with the current (I had a couple of beverages ready for the leisurely part of the journey). Too bad the wind kicked up and was in our faces for the return. We ended up paddling 10 miles.
